Default Trying to find out Cat scrap Value from recycle place in NJ

Hi Everyone,

I tried to post this in the exhaust area but no replies. Just about finished parting out my 2003 Honda Accord EXL V6. Question, does anyone know how much I can get from a recycle place for this Accords Catalytic Convertor? Meaning its scrap value.Trying to see if it is worth it to cut it out before I call a tow company to tow away my Accord.

Thank You for your time,
Keith

I saw this in the other section too, but have no idea how to answer. In some states it's illegal to buy/sell used catalytic converters, apparently trying to remove the market for people to go stealing them off of cars. I have no idea how NJ goes in that respect.

I've seen ads for cat converters, but no idea of what they're paying. Also, they ALL seem to want only OEM cats, and not repop cats (like Magnaflow).

Just call a scrap yard to find out what they'd pay.
