Default Turned engine off while still in drive (stationary tho)

so i got my first car..a beautiful white 08 v6 accord sedan. today while doing my daily nyc parking battle i finally found a spot parked and by mistake i turned the engine off with the car still in drive.... right away i turned the engine back on. but got a engine light on the dash. i turned it off then turned it on again and it fired up as it usually does. i havent driven it around because i dont wish to lose my parking spot its 10am right now id have to drive around for hours before i found another spot. my question is should i be worried? the engine light does not come on anymore after it did the initial time i turned it on after i made the mistake. please any info is welcome should i have the engine checked or should i be ok? again i was parked not moving not giving it any gas or anything. just turned the engine off but the car was in drive. ty in advance for your help!

you'fe fine. you're just worried cause it's your new baby... lol. turning the engine off in any gear while stationary wont hurt anything, jsut make sure you put it back into park obviously.
