Twist Tie Fell Inside Spark Plug Hole!
Yes, this is going to sound awful, but when I was changing my spark plugs, there was oil in the far right hole. So, in a dumb idea, I used a twist tie at the end of a metal rod to attach a rag, and the twist tie came off and fell into the spark plug hole, and I can't see it. Do I have to take off the cylinder head to remove it, or can I fire up the engine and it will burn it up? The only way I can think of to get it out without taking the cylinder head off would be to stick a tube inside and have it attached to a vacuum, or a magnet on a string, either of those ideas sound like they would work? How much space is inside underneath that one hole?

autozone/barn sells thin magnetic probes, perhaps small enough to get in the hole. You'd be fishing in the dark for the twist tie but it may save some time. Magnet on a string is a bad idea cause you could end up loosing the magnet in the hole too.

wait is it a twist tie (bread bags) or a zip tie? lol... yeah if its a twistie use a magnet.
Thank man... I finally got around to making one... it's only temporary, I don't like the glare off the lights, but it hides the fact that my car isn't modded and has steelies on it...

Empty out a small shop vac. Use a smaller diameter piece of hose that will fit in the plug hole and suck it out. With a clear hose you might even see it go by!
