Default update and new 1989 accord issue - seeking advice

Ok - got the girl up and running. Helps to have the proper fuel pump. Took the opportunity to rebuild and clean the top of the carb too. She cranked up great and runs good albeit lots of smoke - need to clean off all that oil the former valve cover gasket leaked down the front and manifold. She started up at 1000 rpm and then crept up to 1500 and then to 2000 and really never dropped below 1500 at any point. i tapped the gas a few times like my old 86 hoping it would drop to 750 or so and it never did - as a matter of fact it hung up at 3000 a couple of times. I did finally get it down to 1500 thats it. Now i know there are 2 screw adjusters in the front for the idle and i just didnt want to fool with it anymore today. I dont think that is the problem though since it was hanging up at 3k. Do you guys have recommenndations on what probably is the problem. I am guessing vacuum leak but need to get down to more specifics to check. I have a vacuum guage. I am hoping its just a hose and not a control diaphram or something. I want to get it more tuned before i purchase new tires - the old ones are dry rotted. PS - the AC compressor isnt kicking on so not sure if just out of freon or a dead compressor.

Choke is fully opening fine... line 18 small vacuum line 19 to unloader NO vacuum. I am thinking of just replacing the unloader, Thermovalve A and B. Need to verify the part #s though ... anyone have them? Is the idle stop sensor at advance the same as the unloader?

Default UPdate

I am told i was wrong on 2 of 3 parts and mixed up one... too many names and differences among companies and people.

Can someone confirm or clarify the part #s now

Fast Idle Unloader or Fast Idle Solenoid. Honda part 8-94146-909-2 cost approx $76.08. I found a generic brand BWD at advance part 31059 cost $70.99. I can get 30% off that... Anyone trust that brand? did i get teh part right?

Thermovalve B - what i thought was A... i am told is A... Am i being told wrong?
part 17360-PD2-013 $37.85 this is the one that says 50A but i am being told that is the thermovalve B that can cause issues with the unloader. Is that true? I cannot read the diagram well.. Where the heck is this part?

Thermovalve A - I am told A has 3 ports but in the diagram the one i thought was A only has two. So i am guessing 17350-PEO-033 is not it. If incorrect can you please tell me the correct part # and location.

Again - the unloader failed my vacuum test. Line 19 had no vacuum and the manual says to check thermovalve B. So just looking for help. I dont mind replacing them all honestly.... It is an old car and everyone says these three components are normal to die...

Again, I hope you have the time to go thru all of this.

I do love these little guys , can be a PIA but they are tried and true.

Ok new things I noticed...when cranking and not up to full operating temperature I can tap the gas at 2000 rpm and it drops to approx 1200...but once the needle is halfway on temp its moves up to 2000 and will not drop. I connected the ends of hose 18 and 19 and nothing happened. What y'all think

Found the one with three nipples and barely brushed it and one broke off lol.... what's the easiest manner to remove these? Small crescent wrench from above?
