My 03 Accord 4cyl is as smooth as silk...except... when I come to an idle. This is worse when the A/C is running. The car runs great other than this. I haven't had the car long and will soon be doing a mileage test to see that gas mileage is reasonable. Just didn't know it this viberation is inherent with the 4 cyl so not to worry or might signal something to be corrected.

What rpms is your car idling at?

 

I believe it is approx 700rpm when warm & say 1000 when cold or more.

if less than 36,000 miles take it to a Honda dealer you are still under warranty,, if out of warranty, chk the motor mounts, try raising the idle up a bit to 750-800 rpm..

Car been in any accidents at all ??

 

No accidents per carfax. How would I check the Motor Mounts.

There is a Honda TSB out for your model's rough idle. I searched but can't seem to locate it. Contact a Honda dealer and let them find it.
