This started last friday. My daughter called, her brake warning light was on, then the battery light came on, along with the doors ajar lights and they were all flickering. When shut off and restarted, the warning lights might return, might not, or sometimes the ABS and the TCS would come on instead. I told her to park it. I went to look on Sunday and the battery was dead. I replaced the battery and it started right up. I drove it home with the TCS and ABS on. this was about 50 miles. The battery was boiling over, I checked the alternator output and it was 18 volts. I rinsed the engine off and disconnected the battery. Today, the car starts fine, the battery, brake, and doors ajar are on and alt. output is 0. I'll replace the alternator, it must have burned itself up. Did it ruin part of the warning system?

I've awnsered my own question. Replaced the alternator and all the warning lights are functioning normally.
