What's base idle for a 99 accord 5sp ? As you guys already know that i installed an 02 auto ULEV motor into my car, which is a 99 2.3 LEV, 5sp, the thing runs smooth so far, no check engine light yet. Idle very smooth too not bouncing or anything,but i think it's kind of on the low side around 700 on the data screen, my old motor used to idle around 850rpm, i don't know what rpm should be for my car, there's no tag under hood that says anything about rpm at idle. I don't know because the new motor is from an auto so it's idle lower than the one with 5sp or not.

 

I think the idle should be 750 +/- 50, so it sounds like you are good.

 

So i'm okay then :-)
