RE: WHAT DEW U THINK IS UP WIT THIS CAR
Falkore ,, my friend.. So the guy is not as educated as you in the English grammar ..But unless his question totally does not make any sense , Is, his bad grammar reason enough for members here not willing to help him?? I for 1 ,do not think so..As long as i can make sense out of it, i will help , you can do as you choose ,and just so you know,, your help is always appreciated ,and you do offer planty of that ..
I always thought that this was 1 of the reason that separates us from other forums , that if a member wrote with bad grammar they jumped all over him ( her) ,wrote a page or 2 talking about the grammar ,,
.It really riled me up when i was at the other forums that people would treat a member like that because of his grammar .

desert .... it's not the grammer that bothers me, it's the text and lack of punctuation. I don't care if it's right, but a period here and there would make it much more readable, or blank lines "......." between ideas, I really don't care how, but these posts are hard for me to read, so I refuse to. I have no personal problems with the poster nor has he offended me. Sorry man, but I don't agree with you on this one. This should fall into the same category as the signature. If someone is asking for my help, they can ask so I understand easily. I don't think that I'm "jumping all over him" .... I just won't help with this kind of post .... similar to how your sig says that you won't if they don't have a sig.
Spelling, grammer even a hard to understand explanation doesn't bother me; just don't intentionally make it hard for me to read!

I HAVE A 2000 ACCORD LX. THEIRS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. IT LACKS POWER WHEN I ACCELERATE, BUT IT IDLES FINE. WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE IT LIKE BOGS A BIT, NOT TOO BAD, BUT YOU CAN FEEL THEIRS A LACK OF POWER THAT USED TO BE THEIR. I'M THINKING THE INJECTORS OR THE THROTLE BODY NEED CLEANING, OR ITS AS SIMPLE AS A DIRTY FUEL FILTER. THE CAR ONLY HAS JUST OVER 115K MILES ON IT, BUT ITS A HONDA, AND I KNOW ITS NUTTIN SERIOUS[:'(]

Thank you nafango, but I'd rather have had it fixed by freak ..... moving on, I'd recommend the same thing that I always do for this kind of post
1) Seafoam, half a can in the brake booster line .... save the other half for a second treatment later on.
2) A quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in the crankcase for 1000 miles, then flush and do an oil change.
3) A small bottle of Lucas gas addative in the tank.
I kinda doubt that the throttlebody or the injectors are the issue, but they are possible. I think that the 4 cyl has a fuel filter, so you might want to change that. Check the air filter, it may be cloged. After you do these things, post back to let us know if there's been an improvement.

on the 6th gen 4cyl the "fuel filter" is a wire mesh screen built into the fuel pump. You can clean it, but not replace it. You need to remove the fuel pump to access it.
