Default What kind of accord is this?

Well I was reading up on the site and started to realize my accord doesn't seem to match what this site says it is.
I'll give you the details about it

1991 Honda Accord ?EX?
Badged as EX on trunk
No sunroof, rear disc brakes, cruise power windows,locks
4 Door
5 Speed
Vin # = JHMCB7559MC

CB7 = Accord, 2.2L
5 = 4 Door Sedan, Manual
Righ so far

5 = LX Accord Don't understand this

I can't find the engine model number anywhere on the valvo cover either.

The engine code is on the block. On the left side of the header on a small flat area. With your car being so old it may be worn down or just covered with dirt.

I think in the old accord generations the ex had more power. Altough I might be wrong, But it isnt by much, only around 5-10 horsepower i think.

The "EX" emblem costs about $14 at the dealer. More likely, the trunk lid was replaced & the emblem came along for the ride.

It's easy to swap trunk lids.
It's a bit more difficult to swap engines.
It's nearly impossible to remove a sunroof without leaving some evidence...

look at your insurance card and see what they coded it as or go to carfax.com and type in your vin (free vin decoding) if you're unsure on the model. Below is a link to a list of honda engines...
