This engine series was used in the Honda Accord and Honda Prelude S. Aside from differences in tuning, these engines are substantially similar.

These were used from 1991 - 1993. You probably have the F22A4 since you're at the end of the 4th generation and you most likely have a rebadged LX.

 

According to your first post you've already decoded your VIN to indicate it's an LX.

You saythere's no sunroof, which (in USA)means that it's an LX.

Anybody can swap a trunk lid, and anyone can walk into a dealer's parts department & buy an "EX" emblem.

 

EX does not mean it has leather in 4th gen cars. if i remember right the leather din't apear till the 93 SE? please correct me if im wrong. my 92 is ex 2.2 4 dr 5spd sunroof, spoiler and factory alloys.

 

Does it matter if it's canadian?

 

Im not sure if the year model makes a difference, but I registered my car at Honda.com and it gives me every last detail down to the interior colors and weight. I found it to be very helpful.

 

leather only came on the SE in the 4th gen accords.

 

Please post the 6th digit from the vin code and I will tell you what it is...also the 10th digit...
