I get 18 all the time, something's wrong.
Only a couple hundred miles on this tune-up too.
The code says "Evap purge flow", some $185 vacum part from the stealership.

I usta get 23 around town and 27 on the highway though, maybe someday I'll have that back.

i get about 23 mpg too...
although im not really surprised. I do a LOT of short trips. literally, this is basically all my car gets driven:

wake up, get ready, drive 3 miles to school
-45 minutes later-
drive 5 miles to a different school
-45 minutes later-
drive 5 miles back to the first school
-90 minutes later-
drive 3 miles home

but on thursdays i drive about 22 miles on the freeway to college, and then 22 miles home, so i do get some freeway miles in there. some. and on tuesdays I drive about 10 miles on the freeway to college, then 10 miles home. (different colleges)

your evap system could be causing a bad gas milage. I had a crappy car where when i dropped the tank i didn't disconnet the orvr valve and it resulted in either a 550 dollar part or bad gas milage i took the milage because i wasn't about to drop the tank again on that thing. and to answere 19accord97 check your fuel filter, look for vacuum leaks, your cat could also be clogged to test that floor your car for about 3-5 seconds then slam on the brakes 3 times really had right after annother if your pedal goes to the floor bad cat. You can do a injector cleaning your baskets could also be clogged resulting in bad fuel economy. If you have access to a 5 gas analyzer i would hook taht sniffer up to see where you are sitting you can tell alot by looking at the HC, CO, Co2, NOX, and O2. I don't remember off the top of my head all the things to look for but that was my best class in UTI (untrained idiots) emissions is fun and easy and you get to screw people when they aren't passing =) well i don't screw them but you can heh. But try fuel injector cleaner not the one from the auto store but the one that has a 16oz canister that you pressureize to your systems fuel pressure the inline hook up from the fuel line. It is like 90-120 for a dealer to do it but it is well worth it. I did it on the POS i drove to school and increased my gas milage from 20 to 25. Hope this helped

drove to and from san antonio from dallas, got 400 miles for the tank both ways, translating to 30.88mpg

that's 85% highway, 15% city.

Last weekend, I went on a ski trip to VT. We rented a Suburban. We drove about 500 miles and spent $110 on gas. Assuming that gas was between $3 and $3.20 per gallon, we got between 13.64 and 14.55 MPG. Not bad for almost all highway driving!!!!

Hit the gas!!! Hear it gulp!!!! ...... 6000 lb. road-tank

How does 400 miles translate to 30.88 mpg, according to your calculations you have a 13 gallon tank, I thought all the Accords have a 17.1 gallon tank? Do the I-4s have smaller tanks?

no they are 17 gallons but you can only squeeze about 13 or so gallons out of it, the other 4 gallons keep the fuel pump from crapping out from vapor lock.
