what to look for before warranty runs out
I just bought a 2007 honda accord 4dr se model. It has 35,000 miles and I was wondering if there is anything I should be checking for before the warranty runs out. Is there any issues to address. thanks for your help

Can't think of anything on the 07 models other than the brake rotors wearing out abnormally fast. Some say that should be a warranty issue, others disagree. Some dealers I have heard will cover it under warranty and others won't. Most will say it is a "wear and tear" item though and not covered under warranty. And in this economy, I highly doubt anyone is going to be giving out any favors.

I would just look over everything, and be real picky. Bring anything to their attention, so if it continues to degrade you'll be on record for mentioning it DURING the warranty period.
Based on my 2003 I can't think of anything special. Mine's a manual tranny, but you probably want to check all aspects of the auto-tranny operation.

Thanks guys,
I was thinking of taking it in since the 30,000 mile service has not been done. In hopes that if they find anything else it might be covered with warranty. Just figured I would pose the question to see if there is something I should be paying close attention to.

Good to hear that there isn't much to worry about, as I have an 2006, 4 cyl, SE Accord with almost 25,000 miles.
By the way, does your interior sport the fake carbon fiber trim? Mine does, and I love it, as it cleans up easy and hides scratches/wear pretty darn good.
