I think that was a Ceaser's Pizza commercial from the 90's. Kinda like the Whammies from Press Your Luck.

The only thing i can see on Youtube is for Dominoes pizza as far as The Noid is concerned and have never heard of the second one but am going to look now.

Meanwhile back on topic; I'm going to see this Accord tonight and see how she drives.

It's a bloody mess, that's what it is. Just after something cheap and scruffy that i can make nice again.

Pics will come later but you will have to excuse the fact that it is dirty.

I'm not even sure if we get the SiR over here, I'm thinking that maybe we only get the Type-R here.

Ok, i went to look at the accord last night. It was ok but the guy wanted more for it than i thought it was worth.

But now after driving it I'm slightly addicted and am looking for an SiR or something to put a Civic Type-R/supercharged/turbo'd engine into and get some good power. Any recommendations?

how about get a sir, and it would be pretty quick as is, or if you really wanted to you could n/a build it, or turbo it, or nitrous it.

I think the SiR is pretty rare here so would be forking out a lot of money for one.

Maybe i could just get one that a newer Type-R engine would fit into and turbo that. Maybe there is a kit to turbo that engine or a good engine transplant that would be a nice "simple" swap over.

I assume the civic type r uses the k20a, which is a great money, your looking at like 10 grand[or 5000quid(no idea how to spell that)] when its all said and done to swap that in.

I say just swap in the sir motor, the H22a or F20b, I have the H22 in mine......you wont be disappointed.

I have no idea which engine it uses, i've been into my GTO too much to know about the Honda's. I love ALL Jap cars (ricers/riceburners i think you guys call them) and wanna go that route again.

Maybe importing the engine from over and installing into a car here may be the easiest way of doing it. Albeit rather pricey.

Will have a look around though and see what i come up with.

Noid:
I would want to know when the timing belt was last replaced as it is an expensive repair and something you have to do at some point. The radiator will be on its last leg most likely unless it has been replaced. I have a 95 Accord and can think of no known problems others than age and miles. Honda had a recall for the seal which holds the counterbalance shaft seal in place. I would expect the CV boots to be cracked or broken by now and would what to know the condition of the wheel bearings. The brake rotors can only be removed with the wheel bearings and hubs on the 95. So rubber parts like belts hoses, CV boots, and seals, should be near the top of your list.
