The 02 and 03 models look very reliable in the April edition of Consumers Reports, but how's their performance? Or you might recommend a different year. I'd like to spend between ten and fifteen thousand, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

My girlfriend had an 03 Accord coupe 5 spd Ex that went for 14500 with 40k and certified. You can find them in your price range. The 03 are stronger than the 02 in both the 4 and 6 cyl models. They had better features also.

you should definately go for the 03 over the 02 big time. and if you can, get a v6, it has 240hp it really rips

Default Thanks.

Thanks, guys. BTW, what's the best way look for a car over the internet? I know about the Edmunds site. Any other good ones? I'd rather buy from an individual, but it seems that dealerships dominate the internet car-search scene. Any sites out there that are move owner driven?

Consumer Reports also advises against buying cars that are in a makeover year such as the 2003 model. They tend to have more problems. However, given Honda's outstanding reliability history, this might be a moot point.
