What year of accord do you have?

Honda went to a different set of services. An A Service has a certain set of items that are recommended to be changed. Take a look at the owner's manual for a description of each service.

If you sign up for the honda owner's link, you can look at the owner's manual online. On my service schedule it is an oil change and tire rotation. In the diy section, there is a thread for owner's manuals as well.

If I read this correct. Service A, sub items 1, 2 and 4 are 423 miles overdue.

A= Oil change
1-rotate tires
2-Air and cabin air filter. Inspect serp belt
4-Plugs. Check valve clear

How many miles are on the car?

EDIT-I'm using the 4 cyl here.

Did you get any service records? If not you are going to have to "assume" these items due and change them. I'd also do a few other maint items if it was me. Need to set a base line for things.

If you are doing the work I can give you the re-set for these. If someone else does the work they will/should do it for you.

EDIT: and you should do as PA suggested and get the owners manual even if you are not doing to do the work. It will explain things like this, which will help you know what is going on.

And no, no service records or anything

So basically.. I can reset it? And If it comes back, It'll mean that I have to do it?How do I do it?
Thank you

That doesn't actually MEASURE anything. It's just a reminder of stuff that has to be done. The computer can't measure whether you've actually changed the oil or rotated the tires.
