Okay got it, no need to rotate the tires because they are new.
So how do I reset it?

It's in the owner's manual.

- cycle the odometer around to display maintenance or oil-%.
- press & hold the odometer reset button for about 20 seconds until the display flashes
- release the button & press it again for another 20 seconds until it reads "100%"

When I said it doesn't really measure anything, that's not quite true. It measures stuff like engine RPM, total revolutions, how many starts, how many cold starts, how often you mash the go-pedal. All kinds of stuff like that, which influences oil life. The cool thing about it is you don't have to guess whether your driving habits fall under "normal", "severe", or somewhere between.

I don't know how you can check how the car determines your driving style.

Your car may have an oil life monitor. When you change the oil, you reset the maintenance light (as described above). The oil life will start at 100%. When it gets down to 15%, is when you get the reminder to change the oil.

You really should view the owner's manual for your car. It is full of information. I am sure that the honda owner's link has the pdf that you can read. Copy and paste the link below into your browser and register. Then you can view your car's owner's manual.

Glad you found it.

If you want a hard copy, you can buy one from ebay for your car. A junkyard may also be a good source for one.

I didn't mean that you can look at something for your driving style. That's just built into the oil-life monitor. If you were to drive across the country only stopping for fuel, you'll find the oil-life goes to higher miles. If you were to only drive in NYC and a local drag-strip, you'll find it calls for oil more often. But you don't get to look at the calculations.
