Default whats best for an auto-2.3cyl 01 accord

i have just down sized from a acura 3.5rl to an automatic 4dr 01 accord lx. and i cant stand how powerless it is so i want to get an intake and exhaust system that increases power and hopefully fuel effiency without sounding too much louder than stock and at the same time arent some cheap rattle cans crappy noise.

i was thinking of getting an injen cold air intake and an apexi ws2 exhaust system which all together is about 8-900$.
or an exhaust shop recommended i just change 2 things which are getting an 18inch magnaflow without changing the piping and getting 2.5" Goerlich Catalytic Converter OBDII 608216 which cost with the injen intake about 700$.

i am a newb and have no idea about this so can some experienced people please give me advice because some people were telling me with an automatic my car will sound horrible no matter what
last question about how much power will those give me?

sorry to say but no bolt on mod will make it quick.

but the intake is A+ and WS2 is my FAVORITE

by getting just a muffler and high flow cat, will only make ur exhaust loud and do nothing for performance. there is gains to be had with mandrel bent piping(comes with the ws2.

if you want the full effect get a header as well.

that is maybe a max of 20hp

swap a 5spd in there to gain lost hp threw the automatic drive-line

usually about a 15-20% loss in power by the time it runs through the tq converter and to the ground.

you can knock that number down closer to the 15% range if not less.

there is math to find the exact number

ebay is where i find my deals.

have seen ws2 going for 550 shipped before

megan racing makes a decent header. i prefer dc sports personally(ceramic coated and superior quality), these can also be had on ebay
