98 accord coupe 4cyl 155,xxx

so there is a sound that i have heard in quite a few older cars 130k+ miles. i dont think its a big deal but if i can, i want to eliminate it. the sound happens only when accelerating. its kinda like a loose leaf sound... like something fluttering... hope that makes sense. someone must know what im talkin about because like i said, i have heard this in alot of cars and it makes them sound old and rickety. the sound is annoying but im also wondering if it is affecting performance. thnx.

 

Best thing you can do is pinpoint the location of the sound. Fluttering leaf sound? First thing I think of is a leaf(!) in the ventilation blower.
