Default Wheel hop

I did some drifting in the rain this week and noticed that I was getting a lot of wheel hop in front. My steering wheel shook pretty hard too. Seems to be ok if I go in the corner at under 40mph. Any ideas on what is causing all the wheel chatter?

Well here's where I see the majority of the problems...

5) It's an automatic accord

4) You were trying to drift it

3) Its FWD

2) It's probably got street tires on it

1) Trying to drift a FWD, auto, accord, on street tires, in the rain.

There was no problem when I did it with dad's 01 accord.

Tires are different and I'm not sure about the suspension.

unless you both have an aftermarket suspension then yours is different and setup/suspension/tires are EVERYTHING when drifting a FWD

There was no problem when I did it with dad's 01 accord.
Real drifting occurs on dry pavement with cars making 400hp+ and reaching speeds of 80mph+ with the right tire and suspension setup.

All you're accomplishing is aglorified powerslide by pulling the e-brake in both yours and your dad's automatic accord.

Come on man do we really want to start an argument about what is considered drifting?
