Wheel hop
I did some drifting in the rain this week and noticed that I was getting a lot of wheel hop in front. My steering wheel shook pretty hard too. Seems to be ok if I go in the corner at under 40mph. Any ideas on what is causing all the wheel chatter?

RE: Wheel hop
Well here's where I see the majority of the problems...
5) It's an automatic accord
4) You were trying to drift it
3) Its FWD
2) It's probably got street tires on it
1) Trying to drift a FWD, auto, accord, on street tires, in the rain.

There was no problem when I did it with dad's 01 accord.

All you're accomplishing is aglorified powerslide by pulling the e-brake in both yours and your dad's automatic accord.

Real drifting occurs on dry pavement with cars making 400hp+ and reaching speeds of 80mph+ with the right tire and suspension setup.
All you're accomplishing is a glorified powerslide by pulling the e-brake in both yours and your dad's automatic accord.
