Where is it?
Deserthonda,
Where is the fuel filter located on a 7th generation (2004 5speed stick in this case) Accord EX sedan with the 2.4l four banger? When the time comes is it user friendly to change or better left to a shop? I ask for myself but certainly others here will benefit also.

...Honda starting in 1998 did away with the typical fuel filter ,, they made it a ( lifetime filter ,,).....the only time you replace the fuel filter is , if the fuel pressure ever drops,, filter is located inside fuel tank,it is part of the fuel pump, you need to remove the tank to replace it..
so do not worry about replacing it at regular intervals...........

RE: Where is it?
Well now, that explains why i could never find an upgrade fuel filter for my 98 accord. lol So then I am assuming all thats on the fuel rail is the fuel pressure regulator, pulse dampener, and injectors?

RE: Where is it?
I've noticed a trend to going with this type of filter. My fiance's old 03 Altima had it in the tank and the new model (03+) years on my Silverado went with this setup.
It seems rather user unfriendly?? Or is the technology good enough for the pumps to last???
