Default Where is the oil filter

I want to start servicing my current model Accord but can't find the oil filter. Can anyone tell me where it is? I have the 2.4 litre 4 pot with an auto gearbox. I'd like to be able to drain the oil and replace the filter. Unfortunately the only service manuals I can buy in Oz make it cheaper to send the car to the garage for a service.

Check ebay seller automanualsource for an 08-10 Accord 4-cyl Service Manual. It's an emanual that you download. Good products. I've bought 2 from him.

good luck

It's shown in the owner's manual.

Default Oil Filter Location

I have an 07 Accord 4cyl Mnaual. Oil filter is located on the Passenger side, you can see it if you turn the wheel all the way to one side. The question is this....HOW THE HELL CAN YOU MANAGE to change the filter with out it pouring out all over since it's on it's side. This was a huge mess for me this morning!

Welcome to Honda 4cyl's

You could let it drain for like an hour.....or just move the drain pan under the filter and "go in"....a rag helps to clean up afterwards.

Default Accord oil filter

You are doing better than me. I am still trying to locate the filter. Obviously Honda want servicing carried out by their dealers, those with bendable fingers.

What year accord do you have? What engine is in it (like K24a2,...).

When you look at the engine from the hood of the car, is the engine on the right side or left side of the car?
