Default Why power feed hose won't thread into junction.

Hi. I have a 2006 Honda Accord I'm trying to install a new power steering feed hose on. I got the original Honda OEM part. It looks just like the old part. But it won't thread into the rack and pinion junction. It just spins and the thread won't catch. I'm thinking it could be because I can't get the right angle on it because things are in the way. The feed hose being long and metal and running under the engine mount block with other tubes, it looks like not getting the precise angle is the reason. What could be the reason? What could I do?

I remember you had some trouble removing the old hose in your previous thread. Look at at threads on the PS rack to see if there is any obvious damage or corrosion.

You are likely correct that you need to get that lined up properly to get the threads started.
