I am trying to fix a 1991 honda accord, with an automatic transmission.

What its doing, sports light flashes while its being driven, and it acts like its got no tranny fluid because it reve's with no acceleration.

I checked fluids, next im gunna replace tranny filter and fluid.

But anyone know if thats the tranny throwinbg a code or something??

 

The S light means that the tranny is throwing a code. You will have to short the service connector with a paperclip or wire. The instructions in the link below for a check engine light and are identical to the steps to check the S light. Just count the S light flashes instead of the check engine light.

 

most likely the transmission computer is shot. replace it. there is no servicable filter. after replacement computer is installed cross your fingers.
