I'm wanting to replace the engine in my 1987 Accord, and have the opportunity to buy one out of a 1993 Accord. My question is - how well will the newer engine drop into the older car? Are the engine mounts right? How well does the computer match up? What about the transmission/transaxle?

I do not think that it a very simple swap.

I would guess that it could be done, but it would be pretty expensive.
