Cable frayed out and broke on the front driver side regulator. Before i buy a new one, I wanted to know if the one from the rear window will fit it. I never roll that one up and down anyways. i wanted to know if i could just swap them out.

I don't think that it will work. You can check to see if those two motors have the same part number to verify.
