Window goes down, but not up
#2
It could be the window sticking in the run channel.
Here is a good video on how to replace the channel.
You may be able to clean it in place and use some silicon paste to lubricate it before replacing the channel.

The motor has a safety if the resistance is to high against the window. Lubricating the track in place is simple to try before digging into the door panel.
If you want to test the motor, you will need to probe the 2 wires going to the motor with the door panel off. One wire gets 12V and the other gets ground. Voltage and ground switch wires depending if the motor is pushing the window up or down.
Odds are the motor is weak, but lubricating the track is a cheap and easy fix to try first.

Just use a q-tip or acid-free brush to get it in the window run channel on the top part of the window run channel. Taking off the door panel is simple. You could try lubricating the lower part with the window up by taking off the door panel.
