Default window regulator question

I am having trouble with my '99 2dr accord driver side window. I took off the door panel to look at the regulator. I did a little research and the regulator that is on there looks like it is from the'86-'89 or the '90-'93 accords. I bought the car used so who knows how it got there but my question is about the power cable connection. I have a '99 so does anyone know if I do buy this regulator will the cable connection be compatible with my car?? Here is a link to what my regulator looks like http://www.1aauto.com/1A/WindowRegul...RG00068/288751
If anyone has any input on this I would greatly appreciate it because it's confusing the dog sh*t out of me.
Thanks

The best advice that I can give you on this is to get the part number off the current one and either replace it with the same part number OR buy the correct one for your vehicle and hook it up.... 1aauto.com is a great place for them.... I got a window motor/regulator from them myself.... My guess would be that someone put in an aftermarket universal style but you can confirm this with the part number...

You have the correct regulator in the car; Honda got smart and went Back to the 'scissors ' style regulator. For the 2 door LX[power window]P/N 72251-S82-A01 Cost approx $50
Ithink that website is showing the wrong pictures, they do not list a coupe either.

I did not know that... good information thanks hondadude.... I often wondered why they switched to the wire and guide type setup like my 94 has... not a big fan of it and it seems to fail fairly frequently....

I don't know any webpage that will do the cross referance (unless napa.com will do it) but you could just as easily order one that fits your vehicle and it should be fine

This is pretty much the only website I use, Alldata is also another source, but I have that on CDs
