I have a 96 Honda accord lx, just replaced the regulator in my driver side door, the window rolled down just fine but it wont roll back up, not sure if its the master control switch or the wiring harness or something else, all other windows work just fine, fuses are good as well

 

Will the window motor push up the window if you pull on the window while hitting the switch up?

 

no I tried that a couple times even with the track loosened up, I even took the motor out and tried and it wont go up

 

It is either the signal to the motor, or possibly a bad new motor.

Unplug the electrical connector to the motor. Use a test light that can draw some amps that is grounded to see if you get power to the motor on one of the 2 wires while pushing the window switch down. The other wire should get voltage when you push the window switch up. Hook up the test light to a 12V source, then test the ground wire for ground.

You can also try hooking 12V and ground to the motor, see if window goes up or down. Reversing the wiring should get the window to move the opposite direction.

 

sometimes the run channel gets dirty, you can pull the run channel and clean it out and add some silicone paste
