I would inspect the used one first if you have any concerns about the scruples of this person.

I paid 256 installed for an 07 windshield back in august.

I called a couple more places today. Two said that they will do OEM windshields for $190. Two other places said OEM will cost $350. How do I check to see if the windshield is really OEM?

I live in Oregon and unforunatley my car i recently just bought is now cracked also. It's longer than a dollar bill so no fixing. I called around and some places will "wave" the deductable. However, I found that it would cost me aroune $185 for installation (+/-) materials, but If i went through my insurance (with deductable waved) it now costs me around $200!. What a rip off.

It's sometimes cheaper (at least in my situation) to get it done myself (referred to as cash payment) vs. having the glass repair shop wave my deductable by going through the insurance. I guess they raise the price.

Yeah that's been my experience as well.

On my wife's Saturn (POS) it would have cost us nearly $600 for a front windshield through the insurance.
For some reason paying cash, I only ended up paying $350

That is why I said sometimes it will be cheaper with insurance. State Farm actually pays more than you would have paid on your own.

Had the windshield replaced today for $190. Said it was OEM glass but I have no idea how to tell. Invoice was $90 the windshield and $100 for labor. Glass looks brand new so guess I'm pleased. The $100 for labor is kind of a rip off for a job that only took 15mins.

You got hosed on the labor. My company pays like $30 for labor and $15 for the kit, then whatever the glass costs.
