Default wondering about transmission compatability.

For any of you that remember me talking about this, ive decided to screw the rebuilt H22 swap, and am now thinking about swapping my car to a manual instead. Ive read all the guides I can find, but am still confused about what transmissions are compatable with my engine. I have a 5th gen F22B2 , (94-97). Just wondering what year/model transmissions can be bolted up to my engine. Will just about any F22 engine work? (especially the 90-93 F22A series, they seem to be cheaper) Will the H22 transmissions work? F23? H23? I read somewhere that basically all F-series and H-series engines and trannys basically match up bolt for bolt, but wanted to confirm what transmissions I can bolt up to my engine. Help?
thanks.

Any H or F transmission, except the S2000 transmission.

^Word. Live2rice has either an h22 or h23(I can't remember which one)trans in his. Keep in mind the gears are shorter so your gas mileage will suffer if you swap to an h series trans. live2rice said he is at 3k rpm's at 60mph in 5th gear. In my 2000 LX, I am at 3k rpm's at 60 mph in 4th gear.
You will get faster acceleration though with the shorter gears.

awesome. but i think i will stay away from the H series, i like my mileage. dont really care about gearing so much. Im not taking it to the track. I think ill do some research on the gear ratios and make my decision from there. And what i can find cheap off ebay.
