so i did the head gasket and timing belt on my 89 lxi 4door, check me on this, top dead center is 1 and 4 up at same time smooth with top of block? i can see the tab thru the tranny hole and its aligned on the red mark on tab...i get spark to the plugs, rotor is facing number one , crank, no start...should i be hearing fuel pump pressure up ?, what else would stop it from starting up ? any relays i should check ? got a little frustrated and closed it up yesterday and was hoping could get some answers from the honda crowd, its all appreciated...

88 accord lx auto blue- carb issues all the friggin time
89 accord lxi manual blue- a/c panel has no power vents stuck on dash..
89 accord lxi auto black ...this is the one i am working on now

 

Listen for main fuel relay and fuel pump to come on when keyswitch is turned from Off to On. If you hear silence, you've got a fuel supply problem; main fuel relay, fuse, fuel pump.
