Wrecked 98 Accord

Default Wrecked 98 Accord

I had an accident and now the car will not start. The brake lights work and the emergency flashers work, but the rest of the electrical system just will not work.

Someone once told me that the 98 Accord had a safety cutoff switch that needs to be reset after an accident.

Is that correct and where will I find the switch?

There is amain fuse No. 15 on a 94 Accord (100 or 80A) in the underhood fuse box. Working flashers, brake lights, and few other things is consistent w/ this fuse being open (separately fused). The wreck may have shorted something causing the main fuse to blow. You may need some help to locate the short and repair. Replacing fuse will likely just result in another blown fuse.
