every pic ive tried says its to large! what size do i need?

Small. VERY small. Max file size for an avatar image is 20kb. Get IrfanView, its really easy to use, and you can resize and crop pics.

Hey! Thats what I use on all my MySpace pics and avatars too! The best part about it is that its a free program that doesn't suck!

For sure. Its really easy to use, and you can do all kinds of different effects, which is really cool in a free program. I was really impressed with it. And since Im also an avid MySpacer (lol) it gets used quite a bit.

Hmmm! I havent tried any of the effects, nor did I know that it had any. It basically fulfilld my only need of resizing and I never really played around with it. I'll be trying it out!
