Hello. I'm new to the forum and am looking for an answer to a lights out situation in my '03 Accord. Everything on the center radio/cd panel works ok but the lights on the panel don't. No radio station # displayed, no time of day, etc. Do I have a fuse problem? If so, what fuse would that be and where would it be located?I wouldlike to try to fix myself before I go to the dealer. Thanks.

 

hmmm...how hard have you looked? this is a very common problem, and shoould be fixed by the dealer free of charge. do a search on it.

 

Thanks. I understand that there's been a service bulletin issued on this. Do you know anything about this? Do you have a # for the bulletin? I made an appointment with the dealer and would love to have that info. I appreciate your interest.

Call 1-800-999-1009 and mention bulletin #04-027. They will ask what dealership you're going to take your car to, and have a representative from that dealership call you within 48 hours to set up an appointment.

Yea you can just take it to the dealer and they will fix it free of charge. Same thing happened to my car and dealer said Honda made an extended warranty on it.
