Default SHORT SHIFTER

I recently bought a billet short shifter adapter from ac autotechnic by tas auto parts and the threaded part attached to the shifter can't fit inside the adaptor. Is it better to buy a whole shifter do I have the wrong adapter?

It's always better to get a shifter than an adapter. As for right or wrong part, it should be listed for your car. Make sure that you are installing it properly. AFAIK, an adapter should simply extend the bottom end of the shifter ..... maybe they include cage riser bushings to help the clearance of the added length and also so it doesn't get too firm. Mine is a full shifter and riser bushings along with delrin cable bushings.

B&M probably makes it. Maybe TWM too.

My Fidanza adapter would not fit on the shifter either, I spent a good half hour enlarging the hole with sandpaper, fits great now.

And yeah, PSPEC or go home.

BCK ..... why do you always have a bad attitude? I can guarantee there is more than 1 company making short shifters or adapters for his car.

PSPEC is just by far the best one offered. But a little DIY work would've made that adapter work in no time.

I'd go with the Neuspeed full shifter setup ...... imagine the results that I'd find if I actually put some effort into this.

PSPEC or go home ..... pfff, open your eyes!
