Default 09 Accord Coupe Exhaust

I just bought an 09 Accord Coupe with an I4. I am looking to get a dual exhaust on the car, so will I be able to take it off of a v6 model and fit it on my car or will I have to go aftermarket? Thanks.

a good shop can make any exhaust " fit "... but if you only have 1 muff then splitting it into a dual will only decrease in power. other then that they can just weld on a 2.25 or 2.5 pipe right after the cat if you need to go after market or hand made.

Well after some research I realized the exhaust on the v6 is not a true dual exhaust. So I am considering going with a custom which has two separate pipes running to the two mufflers. By doing that I realize I am adding on more weight but I am assuming this would allow the exhaust fumes to exit the car much more easily. Just not sure if it would be enough to show any gains in power, which at that point would be a better choice to stay stock.
