Default Am i missing anything?

since aem doesnt have a short air intake for the 07 accord im forced to get a fujita cai even though im a daily driver but life isnt fair but anyways i live in nj and the weather is pretty neutral rain here sun there and then in the winter we get snow but i wont be driving my car during the winters anyways although sometimes it rains and it floods bridges that i have to go over but anyways... im getting the cai and then i know im going to need the bypass valve and i was wondering if theres anything else i would need or is a good idea to get to make the flow better

i think he is talking about AEM, the aftermarket company. and Blackice, just get a bypass valve and you should be fine. btw, i think K&N makes a cai that can be converted into an sri for your car.

I live in NJ also and have an Injen CAI. I think that they also make the convertable type for both of our cars also, but it's probably a bit more expensive. I haven't had any problems with the rain and flooding, but I don't drive over the bridges that go out every year. Also, I've heard mixed reviews about the bypass valves. Some people claim that they don't work right, allow unfiltered air under normal conditions and I've even heard of the foam comming apart and getting sucked into the intake manifold! I'm sure that these problems are not normal for the parts, but I don't think I'm going to use one anytime soon! If I were to do it again, I'd go with Comptech's Icebox intake. It's kinda like a SRI with the filter in a plenum that replaces the stock airbox. The plenum inlet is outside the engine compartment where the CAI would pull air from.

i strongly suggest injen intake... they have the cleanest sound and power is amazing.. you will feel the difference.. you'll see yourself turning into a heavy foot just to hear the intake.. hahahaha..
