I have a 98 Accord automatic. I have this problem. When it changes into 2nd gear it doent feel smooth. You feel a jurking movement going foward. It mostly happens when im leaving my house in the morning. I think it might be becuase the engine is cold. But how cold can it get in the garage I park in the garage every night? Does anyone have a idea on why it if doing this? Thanks

 

When was the last time you had the transmisson serviced? Is it past due? Have you checked the fluid level, color, and smell? Does it smell burned?
