Default breather filter

can you install breather filters on the valve covers for a j30a v6 and bypass the two vaccume lines?

why would you want to? it looks stupid and its bad for the environment.

I've also read that it's also bad for the car. Kinda like a vacuum leak since the resulting pressure in the head is higher.
