Default Bypass Valve Question... Maybe A Repost...

So I Just bought a cold air intake... a cheapo one.... and since it's starting to rain alot more im getting worried about the intake sucking in water... somebody told me that i should look into a bypass valve for my intake.... well heres the question... i have no idea where to start looking and how much they cost... i looked on a couple of sites, but the bypass valves i saw were for AEM intakes only... the place i got it from (BOMZ Racing) doesn't make em'.... or it doesn't even say what size it is... whether it's a 3in or not.... im so friggin lost... maybe somebody out there can help me out....

look into the aem one again, I'm almost positive it's a 3" bypass valve, you'll have to cut your intake (if it isn't split already) to install it but it's worth it... I'm almost positive you can install the aem one just fine

Yeah, as far as I know AEM is the only company that makes them.

Hey! Went to Advance Auto and discovered that AEM makes bypass valves in 2.25,2.5,2.75 (maybe?) and of course the 3.0 inch one. So im assuming your tube is one of those sizes. Hope that helped!
