Go for the CAI.. COLD AIR !!!!! instead of taking in the engine air get " fresh"air from outside.. Thats what i did and i love it... and i dont have to take a wheel off to acess the filter ,just side fender ( very easy and worth it )

Go SRI !!!!!! Take it from me I was one of the unlucky ones and locked up my 99. It so wasnt worth the 2200 to fix my car.I have a sri now and its not a big diffrence. It doesnt take much water trust me.

VtecHef, did you say that take the fender off of your 99 to get to the filter? I hope not! All you have to do is pull the plastic cover down that is located under your front bumper. That's what I do.

This makes about the 100th time that we have posted seperate (but the same) questions about this subject..it kinda gets redundant seeing the same question over and over..read the forum and you see the same answers over, and over again>>

LOL... my fault . I was in a rush and didnt read it over carefully before i posted it.. NO i didnt take the fender off... just the plastic cover..good call jman

I know, Desert, I know. I see you pleading for people to go to the DIY section to no avail. And yeah, the search has worked pretty well for me in the past. I guess people just dont want to use it.
