There's a dual universal muffler by Magnaflow I want to get. 2.25" in and dual 2" out. I need a new pipe, since there's a hole after the cat. If I go get one made to fit my car, can they attach this muffler on, too?

 

yes an exhaust shop can do that for you.

 

Thanks. I wasn't sure how they did things, so I didn't know if they could increase the size of the pipe if I kept the same cat and everything between it and the engine.

 

you can have them make you a new cat back exhaust. Make sure you find out how they bend there pipes if it's Mandrel bent or Crush bent. Mandrel bent you want a 2.25' piping and crush bent you want 2.5' piping.
