Hey...I was wondering if i could just get a muffler and get it custom welded or something...im not looking to get any horsepower because i just want a good sound...not like those high pitched ones that are really annoying...so if i was to buy a greddy muffler, will it still sound the same like if was to install the whole catback system...alright thanx

 

Sure you can, go to your local auto zone or auto advance and ask them for a Turbo II muffler, they sound good and they are cheap..

well it wont sound like a full cat back. and it probably wont sound good at all. its gonna sound like a big fart. there was a previous post where i outlined what it takes to have a "decent" sound from your exhaust. if you not looking for hp, then i would stick with the stock one.

you want a nice sound from a muffler alone, go for a Remus. it won't sound ricey, it won't crakle or anything like that. it will sound like a real catback exhaust. it won't be as loud and powerful, but you'll get the satisfaction of having a nice sound.
