Did the exhaust today. Sounds absolutely amazing at idle. Exact sound I was looking for. It's a little too loud for my tastes when driving though. Wish there were a way to make it a bit quieter. Or at least get rid of the horrible drone. Will get some clips up soon. Courtesy of Mac for all the help lol. I went with 2.5" catback to a 40 series flowmaster. I heard te delta series removes the drone. Is this true ?

I did hear that the delta series does remove the drone. Before you go buy the delta series, did you remove the pre muffler? Try replacing your stock resonator with a magnaflow high flow resonator. That might reduce it some, I'm not sure seeing as how I haven't put one on my car yet. Congrats on getting it and I'm glad that I could help. Where are you located at? I would love to hear it. Send a clip to my email!

Gonna get a clip up soon. Its still a little loud even with the resonator in. My friend told me that a thrush glasspack will help it a lot. Is this true ? I like the tone of my flowmaster 40, but not the volume.

you have a k24 so you need a 2.5' exhaust (if going for performance) or keep your stock piping if just going for sound.

The flomaster 40series is a awesome muffler nice deep tone. You don't have to buy the flomaster 40 series muffler that says it's for your exact car. You just need to find one that has a 2.5' inlet. That's all that matters...that add can say it's for a 98 sentra or something but as long as the inlet is the right size for what you need it for.

Also glass packed resonators are great. anyone know why they use glass?
I teach you

glass is a filter when it comes to sounds it will filter out a certain frequency of sounds. So when adding them to a exhaust it will take away from of the raspy sound and quite down the exhaust some.

To do a exhaust the RIGHT way for performance AND sound it tricky and expensive.
