CUstom Muffler On a Catback System
Hey guys , i am lookin to purchase a new CATBACK system for my 97 accord. the ones i have in mind right now are the SKUNK2 , OBX , do you guys have a new suggestion ? also most Catbacks i have seen all have a similar muffler , with a round 4"outlet or something.....Can we put our own custom muffler to an catback system by switching it with the muffler it comes with?
i am lookin to have a dual square tip muffler , so can i purchase a catback system off Ebay and jus put any custom muffler with it ? is there any compatibility issues ?
please help

RE: CUstom Muffler On a Catback System
if you want a new catback with your own custom exhaust go to a muffler shop and have them make the piping from the cat back and then have them weld on your mufflers. make sure they don't screw you and make sure it is mandrel bent stainless steel. don't waste money on a catback when you will just switch out mufflers.

hmm that wud be a good idea , does the quality of muffler really has an effect on the performance ? i saw a good ol muffler on ebay for $50 bucks , sounds pretty cheap to me.....does a muffler have to be brand name only and wut does a brand name muffler wud have wich a generic ebay one wont ?
