I have a 2001 Accord and the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. The baffles have been loose for some time, and now the check engine light has come on with the error code" Catalytic System Efficiency Below Threshold". The car is a ULEV with the o2 sensor in the middle if the converter. Honda wants about 800 just for the converter. Has anyone had any luck buying one of of the internet, and if so, from who.

800 seems a bit much, you can find high flo cats online for 100 bucks, even if it doesnt add HP you save 700 dollars

agree. try ebay or other online store for your honda accord catalytic converter. You can save $$$ if you just search for cheap but with quality cat.
