Default exhaust for 2001 accord v6?

i have a 2001 accord v6 coupe with a injen sri, and was wanting an exhaust system that still sounds like a v6. a lot of the videos i have seen on youtube make it sound like a 4 cylinder. any suggestions as to what mufflers i can get that will keep the v6 growl?

If you want deep tone look into flowmaster. I have a flowmaster 50 series that is made for imports and it sounds nice a deep. I have on I will sell for 60bucks if you want it. PM me is interested.

i've seen a few videos with flowmasters on the 7th gen, and they sound pretty good. what about just getting rid of the extra muffler underneath and just having the mufflers at the bumper? i like the sound i have now, i just want it louder

I think your talking about the cat and resonators. If you remove them it will make it slightly raspier but it won’t give you the sound you looking for.

i have an identical engine and i just went to my local muffler shop and had 16" glass pacs dumped and tucked up under the car where they are hidden and i also had 1 resonator taken out and it has a good deep smooth sound. if you dont wan to do that and you chose tips go with rolled they sound much better than slant.
