Default what size exhaust pipe is on 2001 accord lx

does anyone know what size the exhaust pipe is on 2001 accord lx 4dr automatic?
2001 honda accord 4dr lx automatic 66000 miles
if i upgrade to a bigger pipe size and get a magna flow exhaust in addition to an injen short ram intake would that give me a few extra horses or not?
what pipe size should i get?
would hurt my low end torque
i wold like to get 15 extra horses with just intake and exhaust is that possible?

most likely 2" piping stock

upgrade to 2 1/2" mandrel bent pipe.

if you want 15hp your gonna have to get a header too.

Default low or high rpm

would that only help only at high rpm's or would it help at low rpms as well?

depends on the type you get.

4-1(one piece) headers move the powerband to the higher rpm range, sacrificing low end power
4-2-1(two piece) headers move the powerband lower for more power in the low to mid range

Default once again much thanks to you

i really do respect and appreciate u taking the time to answer my questions.
if u ud be kind to answer my final questions that would be awesome.
i am planning to put the dc sport ceramic headers + apexi exhaust cat back system + intake.
will putting the dc sport ceramic headers make the exhaust noise louder?
would it make sense to put the headers + apexi exhaust without the intake?
would 2.3 inch pipe +magnaflow + headers intake do the job instead of apexi? its cheaper thats why i ask?
would any of this setup help save any gas?
do i need to buy a performance sensor for the intake or is that just BS?
thank you

Headers an intake and an exhaust is going to be loud. There's not much getting around it. You can get a muffler silencer if you're worried the muffler is going to be loud.

If it's 2.25" piping for the exhaust it won't make a huge difference which brand you go with as long as it's mandrel bent. There will be a difference in sound and look depending on which brand you choose, but as long as you're happy with it go for whichever brand you prefer. Magnaflow and Apexi are both great brands. Look up sound clips on YouTube to see which exhaust sound you prefer.

It all comes down to personal preference. For me personally, if I were to put in headers and an exhaust I'd get an intake to go along with it. Get that air flowin

Your car should automatically adjust for the amount of air coming into it once you install the intake, so there shouldn't be any additional sensors to install.

The apexi ws2 is not loud at all

I had a 02 sentra se-r with nismo cai, hotshot 4-1 header, Megan racing mid-pipe with no cat, and ws2 catback.

It was so quiet it sounds stock with a little extra tone. In fact I removed the resonator in the catback for extra sound.

Ceramic coating reduces heat it's what I prefer

since i am going to change the headers and the exhaust system i think i should change my cat
the guy at the exhaust place said that my stock cat metals would burnout within a year and that i needed to get a high flow cat and im not sure but i think he said heavy metal
IS THIS TRUE?
WHAT KIND OF CAT SHOULD I GET?

Replied to you PM

but the mechanic is full is shiz. About it burning up. However it will be a restrictive point since it is still the stock diameter inlet and outlet.

I suggest a 2 1/2" magnaflow high flow cat. The sale for 50-75$
