Default Exhaust Suggestions

Hey all hows it goin? Alright, well I have a 96 Accord EX with the F22B1, all stock. Looking to get a little more out of it, thinking possibly headers, and maybe a cat back exhaust. The exhaust literally rusted off about a month ago, so its dumping out right after the cat, so as you can imagine its really loud. Haha. What would anyone suggest in the way of a full exhaust that has a nice deep tone, not too ricey, not too raspy, and doesnt have a massive tip at the end? That is my one gaol, no huge tips, they look and sound like garbage. Would you say stock piping from the cat to the muffler with an aftermarket muffler? Money isnt a huge issue right now, but I dont want to dump 600-700 in this exhaust. Any help would be nice!

If you don't want a ricey sound, you need to make sure you retain a resonator. When I had my 4th gen Accord, I had a ceramic coated DC Sport header, high flow cat, and a custom 2.25" exhaust with an 18" resonator (Dynomax if I remember right) and a Vortec turbo muffler (which is not straight thru like a Magnaflow but still outflows stock mufflers) and it had a nice deep idle, muted growl when I got on it and zero drone. When I had a Magnaflow instead of the Vortec, it was way too loud, even with the resonator and had constant problems with drone at freeway speeds.
